Planning: Costume

Introduction

Costumes are really important to consider as:

We will only be able to choose dark clothing as we are using a white screen and we cannot blend in with the background. 

We have a very restricted budget, hopefully we can use clothes we already own to save our money for props etc. 

The clothes need to be recent and fit in with the song lyrics as well as the genre and style of music. 



Costume 1

We have gone for a brave soul dark grey hoodie as we will be using a white screen and dark clothing will show better an make the artist stand out and not blend into the back screen. All the extras will have dark t shirts or hoodies on. This is a good choice as the actor already owns this item of clothing.

For the same reason as the hoodie we have chosen black Hera London jeans as they will show better and stand out as we are using a white screen. This means that the artist will be the main focus in the video instead of blending into the white screen. This is a good choice as the actor already owns this item of clothing.

We have chosen black New Balance shoes so also for the same reasons above, the artist will stand out and not blend into the background. This is a good choice as the actor already owns this item of clothing.


Costume 2

For our second costume Marvin and I have chosen dark coat as as we feel it is modern which fits our music video nicely. We feel this is a good choice as it looks chilled out and wildfire our song lyrics nicely. This is a good choice as the actor already owns this item of clothing.

We have chosen a black T shirts  this is because it is reasonably priced at £5. This is also a good choice because it won't blend into our back ground as it is a white screen.

For the same reason as the hoodie we have chosen black Hera London jeans as they will show better and stand out as we are using a white screen. This means that the artist will be the main focus in the video instead of blending into the white screen. This is a good choice as the actor already owns this item of clothing.

An alternative pair of jeans would be  dark blue as they would still not blend in with the white screen and we already have this item for the artist to wear. Therefore this means that we will not need to spend any money on buying the item reducing our fund budget.

We have chosen these items of clothing as they are modern which fits into our music video quite nicely. Also the dark clothing suits our location as we are using a white screen so as above i state about how the artist won't blend into the background.
